About the Event
Music With Your Baby with Valerie, 9:45-10:15 AM: ages 0-2.5 (no instrument needed)
The Music With Your Baby class for parents with babies and toddlers blends elements from
several early childhood music education philosophies, including Kodaly, Dalcroze Eurhythmics,
Orff and Suzuki Talent Education. Designed for children aged zero to about 2.5 years and their
parents, classes involve the following musical experiences: singing; creative movement; rhythm;
basic musical concepts; story time; live violin music every class (classical and traditional music);
taking turns; learning traditional nursery repertoire of songs and games that can be
incorporated into daily life.
