Performing Groups
Students who continue with their studies through the Suzuki book levels or enrichment classes have the wonderful opportunity of joining our two performing ensembles. Being a member of an ensemble gives musicians a sense of accomplishment, camaraderie and self esteem. Players learn from each other and develop friendships that will last a lifetime!
STEP Fiddlers
Students who have taken fiddle classes during the fall and winter semesters can continue over the summer with the STEP Fiddlers. Prepare for a summer of gigs and performances at fun Newfoundland festivals and events over the course of 9 weeks of rehearsals during the spring semester & serve as an ambassador for Newfoundland culture!

Young Virtuosi
Any student who reaches Suzuki Book 5 (and has completed Musicianship Green) can become a member of Young Virtuosi, our most advanced performing group. Every student in the ensemble will perform a solo concerto with their peers playing the orchestra parts for them. Advanced non-Suzuki string students in the community are welcome to audition.
